IMPORTANT: PARTS SIZES ARE LISTED BASED ON THE OUTSIDE DIAMETER OF THE PIPE THEY RECEIVE INSIDE Peak Corner, Shelter Parts and Fittings 1-3/8" fits over 1-3/8"O.D.pipe
1-5/8" fits over 1-5/8"O.D.pipe Click Here for This is a very popular welded shelter and canopy fitting for peak roof. So that it provides steep pitch for water/snow runoff. This easy to use fittings class comes with "threaded eye bolt" which can be tightened after the pipe or tube is inserted for tight fit connection. The whole canopy can be put together easily using indicated fittings for different connection and tightening the eye bolts. Eye bolts can easily be unscrewed for dismentling for future use. The Peak Angle is determined by the angle of the fitting that connects the leg to the rafter. The table below shows; as you increase corner angle for a given size tarp width: * The front opening (peak end) of the canopy gets narrower, and, * The Peak height Increases
Peak Style - Corner Angle - Opening Width - Peak Height
Flat Roof 90 degree 10 feet 7 feet
Low Gable Peak 102 degree 9 feet 11 1/2" 8 feet
Medium Gable Peak 110 degree 9 feet 6 3/4 " 8 feet 9 "
High Gable Peak 120 degree 8 feet 9 3/4 " 9 feet 6 3/4 "
The above measurements were calculated using a 10ft wide tarp, 7 foot side legs and 1 inch tubing. Design note: Tarp over side and Valance canopy designs are not recommended for Flat Roof or Low Peak style canopies. The slope of the roof is not great enough to allow water to run off of the roof. As a result water can accumulate on the top of the canopy
